In 2004, we were very pleased and proud to have retired the bred by exhibitor Trophy by earning the required 3 legs.  After a few years of sorting thru the rules we were able to put this trophy back in play.

Here is our statement to the club:

"As the winners of the retired THOMAS H. CARRUTHERS III Trophy, we would like to re-offer this trophy to the Club.  We understand the provisions of Ch. 5, Section 10, and request that it remain a tribute to the rich heritage of the WFTCCS.  We feel it is very important to honor the name of the Carruthers by keeping the THOMAS H. CARRUTHERS III Bred By Exhibitor Dog Trophy permanently on display with the club that is so dear to our hearts, The Wire Fox Terrier Club of the Central States.  We hope that any future winners of this trophy will honor these wishes."
