Hottie's Story  

Hottie was born Feb 15, 2011.  A normal strong puppy.  We were so happy with the whole litter, all very nice healthy pups.  All received their vet check ups at about 9 weeks and all were given the thumbs up.  We had decided to run on Joe and Hottie as possible show dogs.  As you can see Hottie has a curled tail which does not make her show quality, so we decided to place her as a pet. 

Early June we sold her to a wonderful couple.  Then exceeded all of our requirements and then some.  They took her to their vet for another check and she again passed with flying colors.   A few weeks later they called and gave us the horrible news that she was completely paralyzed on her left side. She went thru a battery of tests, but no cause was determined.  They decided after a couple of days home, her care was more than they could handle and she might do better with the dogs here to encourage her.  When we got her back she could lay on her side and lift her head. We put in hours and hours of rehab, but it was WELL WORTH IT!!!  I wasn't sure she would ever walk - let alone run!!

Hottie finished up her water therapy and has gone to house full of dog lovers and is spoiled rotten.  She is happy and loved, who could ask for more.
